About the Campaign

FairGaze, a leading school focused media ecosystem, in association with India Is Us is conducting a month long, student-led campaign to commemorate ‘International Day Of Education and National Girl Child Day’that is celebrated on 24 January every year. This campaign aims to contribute towards the fulfilment of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).

Student Engagement Activity – The Campaign aims to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” by engaging students, teachers, parents, educationist, and education experts to share their TIPS AND TRICKS TO IMPROVE LEARNING.

Participation Process

STEP 1: Students register by using the registration link: https://sdg.fairgaze.com/one-day-for-education.html

STEP 2: After successful registration, students will receive a user id and password on their registered email-id,

STEP 3:By using the login details, students can log in for sharing their Tips and Tricks to Improve Learning, (Video, Audio & Text).

After successful submission, students can share their entries on Facebook, so other students can learn about the tips and tricks and ‘like’ the submissions on Facebook, The winners will be declared on the basis of maximum number of ‘Likes’.

EVALUATION ACTION POINTS:
The students will be encouraged to share evidence that their suggestion worked. (The tips that are more practical and evidence-based will have better chances of winning)

Prizes & Giveaways

  • Participants will get the certificates issued by FairGaze & India Is Us (i2u Social Foundation).
  • FairGaze and India Is Us will feature the winner’s story on the respective media networks.
  • Download the participation certificate by entering the registered mobile number (the mobile number which you entered during registration)
  • The top 5 participating schools will be awarded the Best Contributors certificate.

Details of the Campaign

Who can participate- Students of classes 1st to 12th of schools across geographies in India.

Mode of participation- Online.

Contest fee- The contest is FREE for all students.

Commencement of Registrations: Nov 7, 2022

Commencement of Submissions: Nov 7, 2022

Final Date of Registrations and Submissions: Dec 31, 2022

Objectives of the Campaign

  • Provide a national platform to students to share best practices to improve learning
  • Help students to be creative and develop problem-solving skills.
  • Support peer learning and motivate students to share solutions that work
  • Remove gender stereotypes from learning materials and solutions to improve learning
  • Build an understanding of Sustainable Development goals and SDG 4 (Quality Education) in particular
